Food Technology / Design Technology: In Key Stage 3, each pupil will spend half the school year studying Food Technology, and half studying Design Technology.
PSHE (Personal, Social, Health Education): In these lessons our pupils look at the many issues affecting them personally, as a group and more global topics. As they progress through the school, PSHE will include careers advice and life skills as they prepare for their key exam years and life after school.
PE and Sport: In Key Stage 3, our pupils will participate in many sporting activities including a swimming session each week.
Outdoor Education: Learning to enjoy the various outdoor activities such as climbing, hill walking and sailing are all part of the curriculum here at Rydal Penrhos.
Languages: All our pupils study Spanish and Welsh up to Year 9, at which point they may choose to continue studying the subjects to GCSE.
