Appointment of Language, Literacy & Communications Faculty Leader
Rydal Penrhos is seeking to appoint a dedicated, creative, inspiring, and energetic Teacher of English to teach, lead and manage the Languages, Literacy and Communications Faculty for pupils aged 11 – 18, from September 2022, or earlier, if possible. The ability to teach English, up to and including A Level is essential.
This post would be ideal for an outstanding practitioner, passionate and informed about the best classroom practice in English, with commitment and drive. You will have the opportunity to lead a well-resourced Faculty, supporting enthused and engaged pupils to reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will also lead the continued development of Welsh, Spanish, French and Drama, with excellent results at GCSE and A Level.
Rydal Penrhos and follows Maintained Schools’ salary structure for Wales. A TLR 2C (£7,140) is commensurate with the role. The school is also a member of the Teachers’ Pension Service, with other benefits available to staff to be discussed at interview.
