EventsSat 6 March - School Entrance Assessment Day for all pupils wishing to join Year 7 to 12Thurs 22 and Fri 23 April - Golf – The Silcock Salver at Maesdu and Conwy Golf Clubs. The entry fee for non-Maesdu & Conwy members is £150 which includes two rounds of golf, two lunches and dinner on the Thursday evening, contribution to prizes and a contribution to the Donald Hughes Memorial Fund.Players have to be members of a golf club with an active playing handicap.Tues 18 May – provisional date for the next Society Committee meetingFri 17 September to Sun 19th September – Founders' WeekendThe idea is for this to include a timetable of events such as those below

10.00: Girls Hockey (Natalie Kate Moss Trophy), Boys Hockey (Dragons Trophy) - Astro

12.00: Netball - Sports Hall

13.00: Lunch - Dining Hall

14.30: Vikings Rugby - New Field

18.00: Rydal Penrhos Society AGM - Hovey Room

19.00: Rydal Penrhos Dinner - Ferguson Centre

Sunday

10.00: Rydal Penrhos Laser Pico Regatta - Tea/Coffee/Bacon Butties from Penrhos Boat Park, Colwyn Bay Promenade

11.30: Family Bike Ride - Penrhos Boat Park – round the Great Orme and back

However we would welcome more feedback on the weekend, for example:-

A fun run has been suggested starting at New Field and covering the Rydal Penrhos and Penrhos College site

We would also love our existing and former “sporting heros” to come along and get involved, leading events and chatting to alumni.

Cricket is an option

We want to make this a weekend to remember for a long time.We do appreciate with all events they may need to be cancelled or altered dependent on COVID restrictions at the time… but we go forward positively planning and hoping.
