Rydal Penrhos Society
Thanks to Gwynne Hemuss who recently donated several instruments and other musical items to the school, all of which belonged to her husband Terry. Both were long serving members of staff at the school before retiring to live in the local area. Sadly Terry passed away a year ago but his musical legacy to the school will live on as pupils use these instruments to develop their own love of music.
And Liz (Libby Holmes) Wood writes: "In response to your request in the Rydal Penrhos Society Autumn Newsletter, I left Penrhos in 1964 (Lower 6th), so "qualify" for your Register of Past Pupils Booklet, and attach below a few notes of my time at Penrhos which please feel free to use/adapt/ignore as you see fit! I also attach a few photos.
