Prep and Pre-School
Pre-School Magical Forest
Rydal Penrhos Pre-School children immersed themselves in festive delight during a visit to the Forest School.
Singing cheerful Christmas songs, they relished the warmth of toasted marshmallows over a crackling campfire, complemented by steaming cups of hot chocolate and a surprise snow machine!
This was a heart-warming reminder of the joys of Forest School. The school is delighted to retain this invaluable educational location as it consolidates onto a single site in 2024.
Prep Art Workshops
Our annual Christmas workshops saw parents and carers join their Prep children in producing fabulous festive art.
This year’s theme was ‘Nativity Animals', ranging from camels and cows to donkeys and doves. As those who visited our Christmas Carol Service will know, St John’s Church has been beautifully adorned with the incredible art produced during the workshops.
A huge thank you to parents, grandparents and friends for their continued support. As Mrs Roberts said: "This is the highlight of our year! Thank you so much, it kick starts Christmas.”
Secrets Room
Rydal Penrhos Pre-School and Prep pupils were this year invited into the 'Secrets Room' to select Christmas presents for their loved ones from a wonderful array of gifts donated by our parents and carers.
On Tuesday 12 December, year groups had the opportunity to visit the Lyndon Library one by one and select up to two presents for a friend or family member.
Our dedicated team of Christmas elves meticulously wrapped and labelled the gifts, which we hope that many readers will enjoy opening on Christmas morning!
