Rydal Penrhos participates in North Wales showpiece
Rydal Penrhos was delighted to take part in the Venue Cymru Wedding Fayre on Sunday 23 April 2023.
The event is one of the largest and most prestigious wedding exhibitions in North Wales, and Rydal Penrhos was one of several top providers in the local wedding industry involved in the event.
From 11:00 to 16:00, the Commercial Team of Rydal Penrhos, Mrs Maria McLean and Mrs Helen Thomas, were on hand at Venue Cymru to showcase the potential of tying the knot at Rydal Penrhos. The team opened the eyes of happy couples to our beautiful school site and its potential to host all different kinds of ceremonies and celebrations.
Prospective newlyweds were treated to a visual display of what their big day could look like at Rydal Penrhos. Our exhibition area was staged to give couples a flavour of the stunning Osborn Hall, our jewel in the crown, which offers an unrivalled sense of scale and grandeur to a big occasion.
Notably, Rydal Penrhos' much-loved teddy bears made an appearance at the event, adding a touch of fun and personality to the exhibition!

Rydal Penrhos' appearance at the Venue Cymru Wedding Fayre follows the recent news that we have secured grant of approval to hold civil marriages in some of our most beautiful and historic venues.
In addition to St John's Church, those looking to tie the knot in our beautiful premises now have the choice of three new venues: the Osborn Hall, Memorial Hall and Hovey Room.

The Osborn Hall
The jewel in the crown of the Rydal Penrhos estate boasts a high vaulted ceiling, stained glass windows and parquet flooring.
The Memorial Hall
Perhaps the most grandiose building on the Rydal Penrhos estate, with ornate painted ceilings and a rich sense of history.
The Hovey Room
For many years the Headmaster's Study, this opulent and beautifully furnished room is perfect for a smaller, more intimate ceremony.
