Year 4 skiing prodigy Wilf Jones recently returned home from two weeks in Champéry, training and competing as part of the Welsh Alpine Championships.
A key member of our school ski team and regular participant in the Prep's regular extracurricular practice sessions at the dry slope on Llandudno's Great Orme, Wilf's hard work has paid off following an impressive haul of silverware at the prestigious competition in Switzerland, including:
U10 Gold for the Welsh Giant Slalom
U10 Bronze overall Giant Slalom
U10 Gold for the Welsh Slalom
U10 Bronze overall Slalom
U10 and U12 Silver overall Slalom
U10 and U12 Bronze overall Giant Slalom

Lily, Keira and CharlotteNetball
Three Rydal Penrhos netballers have marked the start of the school's netball season with excellent accomplishments as they secured call ups to play for North West Wales in the Welsh Inter County Netball Tournament over the weekend.
Putting their skills to the test against the best netball prospects from around Wales, Lily Copeland, Charlotte Payne (both Year 9) and Keira Luke (Year 10) represented themselves and the school admirably as the competition took place across the four courts at Bangor University's Canolfan Brailsford.
Lily, Charlotte and Keira should be immensely proud and we can look forward to a strong first team in years to come with an excellent core of talent coming through.

Boys and Girls vs BirkenheadHockey
With boys' hockey season now well under way following the Christmas break, Senior girls and boys pulled on their shin pads and lined up to face Birkenhead School.
As you will see from the photos, it was a fiercely-fought contest!
