For keeping in touch
I am writing this whilst sat in what most of you will know as either the original chapel, the dining room or indeed the Library or Learning Resource centre.
In other words, a room that has had many lives. It is eerily quiet and empty as it is half term and the pupils are enjoying the sunshine and we have cleared the area ready to remove the mezzanine floor (meccano set) and return the room to its former glory, all part of Project Bold and re-developing the facilities for the best use by our pupils.
We are so proud of the school, the staff and all of our pupils past and present, and we want to share news of it with you, our most loyal supporters. With this in mind, we are sure that you will enjoy reading this issue of the newsletter.
The amount that we have managed to fit in shows how our alumni network is thriving. Indeed, we have had to set aside some stories until our next edition.
Please do keep your contact details up to date and encourage friends and relatives who attended the school to do the same. Please continue to send in your news, there is nothing we enjoy more than reading about how our former pupils are getting on.
We hope that now restrictions are lifting slightly we may be able to organise further events, BUT in the meantime, please get yourselves along to Founders Weekend (10-12 September) join in the sports fixtures, try your hand at sailing, paddle boarding, or windsurfing, or just come along to tour the school, sit in the sunshine and watch while having a catch up with friends and then join us on the Saturday evening at the Rydal Penrhos Society Dinner.
We really hope to see you there but in the meantime, happy reading.
