Teacher of Welsh – The Role

This role would require you to teach Welsh as a second language to Key Stage 3 and 4 on a part-time basis, starting September 2021. In this post, you will be teaching and working in collaboration with the other members of the School’s Languages, Literacy and Communications Faculty.Day-to-day, you will be broadening your knowledge and expanding your skill set through your experiences.The successful teacher of Welsh will:

Have a flair for planning and delivering engaging lessons

Create a supportive, nurturing and fun learning environment

Be versatile and have strong curriculum knowledge

Be imaginative in finding ways to develop Welsh as a second language within the School community

Rydal Penrhos comprises Rydal Penrhos Preparatory School (2 ½ – 11) and the Senior School (11-18) and follows Maintained Schools’ salary structure.
